You may have noticed that the board was down for a few minutes this afternoon. Generally, these problems are with our hosted server, not the board itself. Luckily, these problems resolve themselves fairly rapidly.

I don't know, but here's how to do it manually. Go to User Control Panel>Board Preferences>Summer Time/DST is in effect:>Yes>Submit.

It's working fine for me and I haven't done anything to the site. What specifically are you trying to access when you get the error? I know we get random errors from time to time, which miraculously fix themselves. Maybe we should switch to a different hosting provider. :idk:

haunter is right. It is quite common for the these shared web servers to get overloaded. You may be getting these errors at the time that the server's backups, db server's backups or log statistics are running. If it is generally at the same time everyday it is likely it is one of these cronjobs.

I used to work for a web hosting company and know a thing or two about them.
